I have signed up, what should i do next ?

After signing up with 1freehosting.com we will require you to confirm that email is valid by sending confirmation link to email you have provided at registration. Email is sent immediately after sign up so you should receive it in minute or so. Click on link provided in email and your profile will become active.

Note: Sometimes Yahoo users do not receive emails from our servers. Please use Gmail or your ISP email.

So I am a client of 1FreeHosting.com, what's next ?

Second step is to create hosting account. With hosting account you can:

• Host your domain on our servers
• Register new domain
• Create free subdomain such as "supersite.hostingsiteforfree.com" etc.

I own a domain and I wish to host it on 1freehosting.com

We are happy with your decision. To host your domain on our servers login to control panel and go to accounts creation page. Enter domain name you own. Enter password for your new account. Click on "Create" button. In a few moments your account will be ready. Please keep in mind that your domain name will not be visible on the internet instantly. You will need to update your current domain nameservers to point to the nameservers listed below.

• Nameserver 1: ns1.freehosting.com
• Nameserver 2: ns2.freehosting.com
• Nameserver 3: ns3.freehosting.com
• Nameserver 4: ns4.freehosting.com

After you have changed nameservers process called "propagation" will take place and can take up to 48 hours. Until your domain has propagated, your website and email will not function. And you will see message in your control panel noting that.

We can not do this step for you, but we can help you determine where your domain is registered and where you should ask for support. Submit a new ticket at helpdesk if you need more information

How do I register new domain?

Registering new domain is pretty straight forward procedure. Login to control panel and go to domains registration page. Choose domain name you wish to register and click "register". Choose number of years domain should be active. Choose payment method and make payment. After payment is received, we require you to have a full clients profile including phone number, address, state, country. You can update your profile at profile page. When your payment is confirmed to be valid and domain you are registering is not fraudulent we execute domain registration. 1FreeHosting nameservers are setup automatically. After domain registration is complete you will receive email with registration details. You may want to setup account for your new domain. The procedure is very simple. Go to accounts creation page. Enter domain name you have just bought. Enter password for your new account. Click on "Create" button. In a few moments your account will be ready.

How do I create free subdomain?

The easiest way to get started is to create a subdomain. Login to control panel and go to accounts creation page. Select "I will choose your free subdomain" option on the form. Enter subdomain name you wish. Enter password for your new account. Click on "Create" button. In a few moments your account will be ready.
